Travel from Belize City to the Caves Branch area for two active experiences at one location: a rainforest zipline course and a guided cave tubing journey. Keeping both activities at the same site avoids a second transfer and makes this a practical 6- to 7-hour private adventure day.
The zipline normally comes first. After a safety briefing and harness fitting, guides lead your group through the canopy course. Guests with height sensitivity or questions about operator weight limits should tell us before booking so the current requirements can be confirmed.
For cave tubing, guests are fitted with an inner tube, helmet, headlamp and life vest before walking through the rainforest to the river entrance. A licensed guide leads the float through the limestone passages of the Nohoch Che'en Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve. Water level and weather can affect access and timing.
Pickup may be coordinated from Belize City hotels, water taxi terminals, the airport area or the cruise meeting area. Send your travel date, pickup point, group size and any mobility, water or enclosed-space concerns before confirming.
- Meet your guide at the confirmed Belize City pickup point.
- Drive about 75 minutes to the Caves Branch adventure area, subject to traffic and road conditions.
- Complete the zipline safety briefing and harness fitting, then move through the guided canopy course.
- Change and receive cave tubing equipment: tube, helmet, headlamp and life vest.
- Walk through the rainforest to the river entrance and begin the guided cave float.
- Change into dry clothing and return to the confirmed Belize City drop-off point.
Pickup can be coordinated from Belize City hotels, the Belize City water taxi terminals, the airport area, or the designated cruise meeting area. Your exact meeting point and pickup time must be confirmed in writing before tour day.
Cruise guests should provide the ship name, expected arrival time and all-aboard time when booking.
Return is to the confirmed Belize City drop-off point unless your written booking confirmation states otherwise. Timing can change with road, weather, river and attraction operating conditions.
Come dressed in bathing suits, T-shirts, shorts, tennis shoes (which will get wet) or water shoes and a towel. A change of clothes and shoes is recommended and will be welcomed after your tour.

- This is a moderately active outdoor tour with rainforest walking, wet conditions, gear fitting and a river float.
- River level, weather and attraction safety decisions can change cave access or timing.
- Guests with mobility concerns, water anxiety, enclosed-space concerns, height sensitivity or questions about zipline operator limits should contact us before booking.
- Cruise passengers must provide the ship name, arrival time and all-aboard time. The meeting point and safe return plan will be confirmed in writing.
Full payment is due in order to confirm the tour. A 80% refund will be granted if cancellation is received 36hrs or more, prior to departure. There will be NO refund if cancellation is received less than 36hrs prior to departure. We Private Belize Adventure reserve the right to cancel any trip prior to departure under circumstances that may make operations of the trip inadvisable. All trip payments, which were received, will be promptly refunded. This cancellation policy applies to any reason for cancellation, including airline delays, strikes, world events, personal issues or Acts of God.
Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk Agreement
The following defines our Responsibility with respect to all of our trips. You acknowledge that during any tours booked by Private Belize Adventure in which you will be participating, certain risk and dangers may arise. You are voluntarily participating in these activities with knowledge of the dangers involved and hereby agree to accept any risks. You therefore release and discharge Private Belize Adventure, its affiliates and employees from all claims, actions and demands of any nature that may include claims for bodily injury, death, property damage, or any incidental or consequential damages arising from my participation in the Tours and Excursions.
